A day's skiing on Plan de Corones really does have everything you could need for a perfect time on the slope. Val Pusteria's number 1 mountain for skiing stands powerfully between Brunico, San Vigilio and Valdaora and, with its broad, almost treeless slopes, impressive 119 km of pistes, 32 lifts and a multitude of places to eat, is among the top winter sports destinations in the Dolomites.

It offers every kind of slope that beginners, occasional skiers and seasoned pros could hope for: long descents into the valley with panoramic views as well as the 'Black Five', the five black runs on Plan de Corones that ask a lot even of real experts.
